COLLECTION / DELIVERY OF THE BICYCLE:
By signing the rental contract that comes with the bicycle, the renter confirms that he has received the bicycle in perfect technical, safe and clean condition. The bicycle must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered / collected (with the exception that RIDE BASE TENERIFE will take care of cleaning and disinfecting the bicycle when it is returned).
Bicycles and equipment will be picked up and delivered during the established hours when the shop is open to the public, visible on our website/ social networks/ google (https://www.facebook.com/RideBaseTenerife/) )

CANCELLATION AND RESERVATION

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT CONTRACTING WITH US.
These terms and conditions are part of the agreement between RIDE BASE TENERIFE (NIE: X9667384R Alberto Brandoli) and the lessee.

By placing a purchase order through the Website, the Client declares that he/she is over 18 years of age and has the legal capacity to contract the products of the Website. To this effect, RIDE BASE TENERIFE reserves the option of requesting documentation from the Client, at any time, proving his or her age.

If you wish to cancel your bicycle reservation, our policy is as follows
Cancellation up to 8 weeks before the start of the rental season. Full refund of the amount paid.
Cancellation made between 8 to 4 weeks before the start of the rental season . Refund of 50% of the amount paid.
Cancellation made within 4 weeks before the start of the rental season. No refund will be given.

PAYMENTS
We guarantee that every transaction made on our site is 100% secure.
All operations involving the transmission of personal or banking data are carried out using a secure environment. The Seller uses a standard security certificate SSL (Secure Socked Layer). All the information you transmit to us travels encrypted through the network.
Likewise, your credit card data are not registered in any database but go directly to the TPV (Bank’s Point of Sale Terminal).
When paying by credit or debit card you will always be asked for the following information: card number, expiry date, plus guarantees about the security of the transaction.
By clicking on “Authorize Payment” you are confirming that the credit card is yours.
Credit cards are subject to verification and authorization by the card issuer, but if the card issuer does not authorize the payment, we will not be responsible.
If you use the PayPal payment method, you can easily pay for your purchases with your debit card, credit card or bank account without sharing any financial information.
PayPal securely stores your financial information and protects it with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. What’s more, your financial details are never shared with the Seller.

RESPONSIBILITY IN CASE OF ACCIDENT:
RIDE BASE TENERIFE will not accept any responsibility or liability for any personal injury caused during the use of the bike during the rental period. It is fully understood that the renter must have adequate personal insurance to cover any eventuality that may occur, including theft, damage and accidents caused by the renter or any third party or their property during the rental period. It is recommended that you verify that your insurance covers this. We recommend that you carry your insurance documentation and identification with you at all times while riding your bike.

 

RESPONSIBILITY IN CASE OF THEFT:
The lessor is responsible for ensuring that you are properly insured during the rental period. However, if your bicycle is stolen or you lose components of the bicycle, you are fully responsible for the loss. If your bicycle is stolen, you must inform RIDE BASE TENERIFE immediately. If you have adequate insurance that can pay for the stolen bicycle, you must go to the nearest police station and obtain a police report of what happened. RIDE BASE TENERIFE will charge you for the stolen bike or missing parts, at current market value.

 

RENTAL EQUIPMENT
The bicycles and equipment contracted in the rental contract remain the property of RIDE BASE TENERIFE. The renter is obliged to take good care of all the contracted equipment and to take all the necessary precautions to protect it from damage, loss and theft. The renter is fully responsible for informing Bikehead of any damage or loss suffered to or from the bike during the rental period. The insurance offered does not cover damage caused by careless handling of the bike or damage to the frame. When returning the bike at the end of the rental period, RIDE BASE TENERIFE will examine the bike/equipment. If you are satisfied that there is no loss or damage, RIDE BASE TENERIFE will sign to confirm the cancellation of the deposit by credit card / return of the deposit. If for any reason a full inspection is not possible at the time of return (e.g. you are in a hurry or someone else is returning the equipment on your behalf) the deposit will be withheld until such an examination can be carried out. In the event of damage to the bicycle or any component during the rental period The lessor is responsible for the full cost of replacement at the current market price of all or part of the damaged bicycle/equipment. By signing the rental agreement, the renter agrees that any damage found to the bicycle/equipment after return will be charged to his credit card or must be paid for in cash. In such circumstances the hirer will be informed by email of the details of the damage and the amount charged.
If the hirer does not return the bicycle at the agreed time, he will be charged EUR 105 + EUR 50 / day thereafter. The renter must inform Bikehead of any delay in return, the equipment not returned will be charged at the full replacement cost of the rented equipment and we will inform the local police, so it is of utmost importance to contact us directly if you have any problems. with the return of the equipment
